Project Overview
Bento Bean started with a simple problem, our friend group could never agree on one place to eat. We craved variety, not compromise. Inspired by the humble bean a global staple, we created Bento Bean: a food truck serving affordable, balanced bento boxes with worldwide flavor.
The moodboard reflects bold typography and vibrant colors inspired by global food culture. It sets an adventurous yet friendly tone for the brand, celebrating diversity, curiosity, flavor, and shared experiences.
Early ideation focused on testing bold, chunky typography, ideated through shapes inspired by stacked bento box compartments, and a ninja style cat mascot to add curiosity, adventure, and fun to the brand identity.
Logo Construction
The bold, handmade type mirrors a bento box with letters shaped like unique compartments. A ninja cat mascot with striking yellow eyes adds mystery and adventure to every bite.
